The collection of photos with misleading captions below, shared by Reddit as “misleading thumbnails”, is sure to change the way you look at it. Because they have shared it with us like this to show us that they are not what they seem!
When faced with an unfamiliar situation, our brain is more likely to mislead us so that we think we are seeing something but in fact it is something completely different. However, reality is not always ready to trust our brains. Misleading thumbnails, for example, is a subreddit that shares images with misleading titles, thereby creating an optical illusion of images that, after being reduced in size, look like something else entirely. This way once we read the title first, our brain gets an idea of what to expect next, but as we said the reality is a bit different.
The sources from which the images were taken are also linked to the image and don’t forget to check out the rest of the works in this collection of talented photographers. So scroll down and enjoy yourself some more!
