This news piece tells the story of Melissa Sloan, a 46-year-old woman from Wales in the UK. Melissa used to work as a janitor, cleaning toilets. However, she’s now struggling to find similar jobs. The reason she gives is the extensive tattoo art that covers most of her body, including her face. Melissa feels this unique appearance is preventing her from getting hired. Unfortunately, it seems some employers hold negative views about tattoos and might be making judgements about her based solely on her looks.
